Kalee Coombs, Soprano/Vocal Artist
Kalee’s pristine voice and passionate artistry have allowed her to
perform in various venues and events in San Francisco, San Diego, and
Portland, Maine. She has performed as soloist in the annual Italian
North Beach festival in San Francisco and with Luigi and Company Opera
Troupe in San Diego. In addition, she was requested to sing as soloist
for Crusade Capers, in which the proceeds were sent to the National
Cancer Society.
In her most recent solo performances with the San Francisco State
University Opera Workshop she sang Susana’s “Deh vieni non tardar”,
from Mozart’s Don Giovanni, “If I loved you” as Julie from Carousel,
and as ensemble member in Bizet’s Smoking chorus scene from Carmen. She
also sang with the Women’s Chorus in which she performed the solo
“Dancing Day” and with the San Francisco State University Chorus
performing as high soprano in Orff’s “Carmina Burana”. In addition,
Kalee was the voice of Eva for Turner Television’s documentary
“Haunted”.
Kalee was also awarded the “Excellence in vocal performance Award” from
